POGA receives a donation from the EBRD Community Initiative

The POGA Center is a leader in pediatric rehabilitation in Latvia; in support of the center's work, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development presented €20,000 for the development of the POGA Center.

This year, from June 5 to 7, Riga hosted the 35th Annual Meeting and Business Forum of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, attended by government representatives, investors, and entrepreneurs from many countries. The event's key themes included the development of the Baltic region, investment, digitalization, infrastructure, and support for Ukraine.

To mark the forum held in an EBRD member country, a donation of €20,000 was presented to POGA and the Marta Centre. We received the donation from the EBRD Vice President, along with heartfelt thanks and words of appreciation for the work of the POGA Centre from the Bank’s President!

The donation will be used for training, equipment, and sessions related to the new DMI physiotherapy method, as well as to cover part of the cost of a new Tobii alternative communication device.
