Early rehabilitation physiotherapist Jūlija Keiranova is enhancing her knowledge of Pikler pedagogical practice.
Certified physiotherapist Jūlija Keiranova undertook in-depth training in the Pikler approach and the method of fostering natural child development in Germany.
Continuing to deepen her knowledge of Pikler® pedagogy, Jūlija had the unique opportunity to participate in—and gain an unforgettable experience from—the Elfriede Hengstenberg module within the Pikler® practice support program in Berlin! Throughout her life, Elfriede Hengstenberg worked to ensure that children and their parents could live more freely and without interference, grounded in a connection with themselves and their surroundings.
An excellent opportunity to gain personal experience by performing various sensory perception exercises, to get acquainted with Hengstenberg materials and equipment, and to try them out in a calm atmosphere.
"This kind of personal growth is possible at any age and offers us adults the chance to experience what young children do—children who are, by nature, freer and more open to the world," says Jūlija, a physiotherapist at the POGA center.
