Cooperation with a German technical orthopedist

Egija Bidiņa, head of physiotherapy at the POGA Center, participated in the training of technical orthopedists and DAFO orthoses were created for six POGAS patients free of charge.

Egija Bidiņa, head of physiotherapy at the POGA Centre, participated in the "Technical Orthopedics" specialized course training for technical orthopedists from Human Study, SCOPe, on Orthotic treatment - DAFO concept.

Egija Bidiņa, together with six POGAS patients, participated in joint physiotherapist-technical orthopedist consultations, in which patients were provided with free DAFO orthoses during the training process after individual consultations.

We are pleased that SIA "Technical Orthopedics" has invited a strong technical orthopedist, Sven Gawron from Germany, to lead the training.

During the training, a team of Latvian and German technical orthopedists visited the POGA center, got acquainted with the center's work, the methods used, and exchanged news in the rehabilitation industry, where technical orthopedics also plays an extremely important role. We are pleased with the interest shown and the desire for closer cooperation.
